Pittsburg State University head women's soccer coach, Wes Branstetter, has officially welcomed eight new student-athletes to the Gorillas' 2026 roster. The announcement, made on Saturday, June 6, 2026, marks a significant step in bolstering the team for the upcoming season. Among the new recruits are Sthefany Oliveira da Silva, a defender from Betim, Brazil, who will be a redshirt junior. Oliveira da Silva brings a decorated junior college career, having been a two-time first-team All-Conference performer and the KJCCC Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2025, leading Cowley College to multiple conference and regional titles and a semi-final appearance in the NHCAA D1 National Tournament. Also joining the defensive line is Sarah Payton Webb, a defender from Prosper, Texas, who transfers from the University of Texas. The offensive front will be strengthened by Kaiao Zoller, a forward from Honolulu, Hawaii, who previously played for Westminster University. Midfielder Makenna Herrick from Newhall, Calif., and forward Zoe Ryan from Papillion, Neb., are among the other incoming talents. Defenders Leah Pugliese (Omaha, Neb.) also join the squad.
